Ruby Revere Conley was born in Dayton, Ohio to Benjamin and Annie Minor on July 15, 1927. She graduated from Dunbar High School and attended Miami Jacobs Jr. College for shorthand. Ruby was the mother of seven children (five sons and two daughters). She retired from the Auto License Bureau in Dayton, Ohio where she worked many years as the assistant supervisor and notary. Ruby was a dedicated member of Bethesda Temple Apostolic Church where she served as Sunday School Teacher and worked in the food pantry for many years.
Ruby was preceded in her departure from this earthly life by her father, Benjamin Minor, Sr.; mother, Annie Minor; husband, Peter Conley; four siblings: brothers, Benjamin Minor, Jr., Bobby Minor, and Maurice Minor; sister, Jeanette "Sweetie" Bryant; two sons, David Day, Jr. and Anthony Day; one granddaughter, JoAnn Whitfield; and one great-granddaughter, LaCresha Day.
Ruby leaves to cherish her memory: her children; Francez Bennett, Michael Day, Timothy Day, Christenna Day, and Jeffrey (Angela) Day; sister, Mary Nash; honorable mention to grandchildren Marrē Barnette and James Day; and host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren; nieces; nephews and other family and friends.
Ruby will be truly missed by all.
